Plate V20
Is it mandatory to carry the V20 sign?
If you carry a load that protrudes from behind the vehicle, such as a bicycle in the rear rack, YES, IT IS MANDATORY.
The use of the V20 plate for protruding loads is defined in section 6 of art. 15 of Royal Decree 1428/2003, of November 21, which approves the General Traffic Regulations.
Is it approved?
Of course, with the national approval number V20-120, granted by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism of Spain.
What is the ABS that my V20 signal is made of?

Anti-scratch back protection?
Another of the innovations that our V20 provides is a high-impact polymer back sheet, specially designed to avoid damage due to the friction that usually occurs between the signal and the support surface (bicycle frames, car paint, outboard motor ...) .

Is the sign resistant to dust, water, adverse weather events?
The sign and its components are resistant to weather, dirt

I observe that I can bend it and it adapts to the forms on which it rests. Is it normal?

How is it fastened? Why is the use of "grabs" recommended instead of zip ties?
According to R.D 1428/2003. Article 14.
Arrangement of cargo: «The cargo transported in a vehicle, as well as the accessories used for its conditioning or protection, must be arranged and, if necessary, subject to such that they cannot:
- Dragging, falling totally or partially or moving in a dangerous way ... "
As drivers we are responsible for the correct securing of the transported cargo. Throughout the year the DGT and the State Highway Conservation and Maintenance Service remove from our highways several hundred V20 signs that have been “loosened” from the load .
Although our sign is equipped with 4 protective grommets that protect the element used for its attachment from cutting and does not contain the dangerous cutting edge of aluminum models.
We recommend to use always four points of attachment to hold the sign, trying to make sure that the whole is glued, tightly held and as sheltered as possible from the wind.

Strapping instructions
Press down on the retaining buckle to lift the clamping pawl and insert the strap through the lower part of the strap, as shown in the figure. Adjust the strap to the load and release the claw. Tension the belt until the desired tension is reached. To remove the strap, press the fingernail, this will release the tension on the strap and you can remove it.
What precautions should I follow?
Choose lashing straps according to the necessary lashing capacity and the nature of the load. Take into account the number of straps required and their appropriate strength and length. Do not exceed the load capacity mentioned on the strap label. It is not recommended to mix different lashing systems (eg: chains, ropes, straps ...) to hold the same load. Its behavior and elasticity are different. Do not tie the belts, avoid friction from sharp edges or abrasive surfaces. Periodically check the tension of the belts. Do not use clamping devices outside the temperature range -20ºC + 60ºC or in the presence of chemical products. During the unlocking and removal of the lashing system, ensure the stability of the load. A visual check of the straps is recommended before and after each use. Any strap that has been damaged or has been in contact with chemicals should be discarded.
Can I cut the strap to fit my needs?
In case you over a long strap length, we recommend that you turn around and fix the remaining centimeters. It is possible to trim it and adjust them to the desired size. (For example in case they are used in similar loads and over a long belt length). Use scissors and make a diagonal cut, then burn the end with a lighter so that it does not stick out. In case of trimming, leave at least 20cm of free end from the buckle.
